Prima Luce and her Dad, painted a 30 metres long mural on the iconic street of King's Road, in Chelsea, London.

Updated: Mar 31

From legendary rock bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepellin, to fashion icons like Mary Quant and Vivienne Westwood passing through, King's Road has become one of the most iconic streets in London.

Lucila Sampaoli (under her artistic name Prima Luce), along with her father; Alberto Sampaoli (a very well known Argentinian-Italian artist and sculptor) -who travelled from Buenos Aires to London for this occasion- collaborated for the first time in the making of this work of public art.

Location: Chelsea Fire Station, 264 King's Road, Chelsea, London, SW3 5UF.

The mural is a tribute to the lived of loved ones whom we lost, and at the same time; a celebration of life itself. It's about a story of transforming pain into joy, into love, into a meaningful life.

Lucila, who has been living in London for the past 5 years, and is local to Kensington and Chelsea borough, was sponsored by Sloane Stanley Real Estate (one of the major landowners of commercial premises along King's Road), to create this mural, in preparation for Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Day takes place on the second Sunday of November in the UK, and the mural will remain on site from early October 2024 until the beginning of 2025.
